Anybody else watching this fight on HBO? Cotto started really strong but Foreman is having a nice comeback round here in the 4th. Been impressed with Cotto's sharpness tonight. I really didn't expect much from him after the recent beat downs.
It was injured coming in, he was already wearing the brace. It just gave out on him. Props to him for continuing even though he lost one of his major advantages, his mobility.
Ref was an idiot. Guy might have a torn knee and he doesn't even let his own corner stop the fight. What the hell? I've never seen that before.
I've got a lot more respect for Yuri after that performance. He was clearly hurt and should have quit, but he kept on going on one leg. Great fight.
He just looked a lot sharper than he has in years. Landing the jab, punishing the body and keeping himself in good position throughout the fight. Early on he rocked Yuri on his heels multiple times, his power was just more than Yuri was prepared to deal with.
lol, the injury happened late in the fight. I'm talking more about what was going on before any of that. Cotto dominated the early rounds. Anyways, good fight and I'm a bigger fan of both of these guys after it.
I watched it. Me and my brother were cracking up when the towel was thrown in the hugged then started back fighting. I think it would've been more interesting if Forman's knee wasn't jacked up. When he slipped I knew it was over for him.
