Amir by 12 round decision. Hope there's a rematch. Amir holding too much in this fight but Freddy is doing a good job with him so far.

Cortez is either senile or on the take. Khan won the fight, but he was rocked several times in the 10th and Cortez kept jumping in between the fighters while Maidana was punching. What the hell?! Maidana wasn't even clinching, Khan was trying to hold but getting his ass kicked. Just put a damper on a great fight.

Khan needs to shut his mouth about Mayweather, by the way. If he gets hit that often by Maidana's counterpunches, I don't want to see what his face would look like after 12 with Mayweather.

Exciting fight. I'm glad I saw the listing on ATDHE while perusing for Rockets links.

Amir Khan was technically better in the earlier rounds, but clearly held a sh1tload later on when he started getting rocked. I wanted him to win, but, had this gone on for 6 more rounds - or had it been a brawl - I'm sure Maidana would've won.

Khan should have stuck to the strategy, he proved that he's improved his "soft" chin but he would have had a much easier fight if he didn't try to KO Maidana. I think it was the 10th round where Maidana hit some major blows to his head, I thought Khan was going to go down after that, but he actually recovered okay, still has some work to do though (ie. keeping to the game plan :) )

Credit to Maidana he took some crazy hits and still stuck around, the uppercut he took was brutal, how he stayed standing was amazing.

Maidana reminds me of Magarito (when he was beating guys down with loaded gloves).

What a great night of boxing on both channels! Khan vs Maidana took the cake for fight of the night, maybe even the year. It looked like Khan wanted to prove to everyone that he could take a punch and his chin is not as glassy as people say. He definitely showed that as I was sure he would at least went down once when Maidana was rocking him. Those guys really put on a show last night.
