I've got a bowling ball that was in my trunk and I neglected to think that it would banging against something things which would cause nicks and little dents on it. Anyone know of a pro bowling shop that will fix that sort of stuff, either filling some dents or resurfacing the ball? Preferably in the north side?
My proshop guy, Randy over at alpha lanes on bay area blvd does a great job with fitting, resurfacing, adjusting, finding the right ball for you, etc. I know it's pretty far from north Houston, but I just have to throw in my 2 cents for him. He's a great guy that really knows his stuff. btw I purchased my ebonite game breaker used from his own ball collection for a great low price. He refitted and resurfaced it for me, and the ball hits like a champion. I believe he charges $20 for resurfacing, but I'm not quite sure how his prices are now because I haven't been to his shop since the summer. His shop's phone # is 281-338-2546.
My proshop guy says your proshop guy's an idiot. To be fair, I only go to places that allow a pug. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zcKOQrz19Yg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zcKOQrz19Yg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Anyone know how they come up with the sizes on finger inserts? I gotta buy some and not sure which size I need. Any link to a guide or something would be very helpful!
+2 for Randy Its hard to find a guy that will take the time to talk to you about what and how you want it done. HE has done all my gear...and most know I take my bowling seriously.
