bowling a sport or a hobby???

Obviously, you're not a golfer.

 

The bias in this forum can really get to be too much sometimes.

 

I would describe it as an activity. You can be a professional bowler, so it may not be just a hobby.

 

To make this D&D appropriate:

 

It's both so I guess in the context of this discussion my official answer is that it is a sport.

 

Golf is considered a sport (per Websters dictionary under the word sport).

So bowling is a sport.

It's competitive. You keep score. You have to be slightly athletic in at least some way to do it.

 

Only real Americans bowl.
