He has the hustleness like Ginoboli. And he plays like James Posey.

he's nowhere near as good as either of those players. he is a good roleplayer, however.

He'll give us the same thing Eduardo Najera gave the Mavericks for a few seasons. While those types of players don't contribue much statistically, what they offer in intensity and heart more than make up for their lack of talent. I think Bowen will be a very welcome addition to this team.

Yeah, I love adding Ryan Bowen to this team but I think you guys may be going a bit overboard suggesting he'll be the difference maker. I'd love for this the author of this thread to be right though...

He makes things happen and he is cheap. He definitely hussles more or better than possey but possey can sure shoot better at this point of their career.

I love him. I love him. I love him. He is going to be a great great addition. Sorry Boki :(

Pure energy player, who will be used to insert hustle in line-up.

He will bring intensity in garbage time LOL :p No, I really like this guy, he's like a non psycho mark madsen with even less scoring ability, yea, thats bad. But I sense he knows his role so he will not waste plays trying to score when he knows thats not what he's there for, he will get that rebound for a put back or will dive in the stands for a rebound for the team. He's the one that looks for danger and is the first one to react to it. He will win some games for us in a non statistical way.

Underestimated, his value during practice, and his ability to make everyone a little better.

I think Bowen would be a good pairing with Mo T off the bench. Mo can cause havok on the offensive side of the floor, with Bowen being a pest on the defensive side.

He reminds me of Bruce Bowen without a 3pt shot.

From what I've seen from Bowen, the guy will stick his nose in there for tough rebounds. He can't shoot worth a lick, but it's not like Boki is lighting it up from the perimeter.

I can see him playing well with the bench unit since I think the bench unit should be primarily a defensive unit. It's the starters who will be creating the lead. It's the bench unit that gives the starters rest and not have that lead go all away.
