Chris Bosh is a superficial diva of a player. His cosmetics are great..great height, athleticism, all-star numbers...but he's not a ball-player. Chris Bosh is not going to will your team to victory in a deep playoff series. He barely sniffed the postseason in 7 seasons with that entire organization firmly behind him. The Houston Rockets are a team of a guys who play ball. Guys you want to go to war with. They play for eachother. AB is severely undersized and underweight but he lights the entire league up (a league who gave him no shot at success). Luis Scola is an undersized and unathletic 4 who on heart, determination and intelligence alone is top 5 at a deep NBA position. Yao Ming is the best center in the NBA and has played himself into a wheelchair year after year for his city and his entire country and done it with a smile on his face. Ariza is a scrappy guy who has a knack for making a big play or two for his team, whether on defense or offense. Kevin Martin works tirelessly every offseason to make sure his jumper is crisp and his movement and handling devastating (and those complaining he can't defend, he's emphasizing improvement in that area as we speak). Chuck Hayes will sacrifice life and limb to lock down a post player and track a loose ball. Our role players (CBud, Hill, Taylor, Andersen, PatPat) are all intelligent, atheltic and hard working players. Bottom line is Houston and Morey have put together a team of BALL PLAYERS, and CB4 never fit our description to me. To anyone who read all this...this is mainly a battle cry amidst what alot of you think is a crippling moment for the Rockets. In reality..we'll goto war with our guys like we do every year and fight for a championship.
It's always the blindly optimistic fans that are hurt the most when something doesn't go their way, and I knew a lot of fans would react this way... You guys sound like kids that are throwing temper tantrums because they didn't get the toy they wanted for Christmas. Grow up people.
