    I never thought that I would see the Red Sox win the World Series. From Bucky Dent to Bill Buckner to Aaron F***in Boone, I thought that this curse would never end!

    I wanted to see the Astros here, but considering that we did not make it, this is definitely the second best scenario!!

    1918 is history!!!!!!!!

    If it can't be the Astros, I am happy for the Sox.

    Anyone else think the Stros would have give the Sox a better series?

    Well they certainly couldn't have done much worse ... I think the Stros really could've given them a much better run.

    I figured this series would be really short.. but not sure on which side...

    Wasn't sure if Boston would be unstoppable because they were on a mental high from coming back down by 3 games.. or if that woudl take all the energy out of them and they'd lose easily to st louis...

    I watched a grand total of about 2/3 of an inning of this series and that is being generous. I really may have only watched about 6 pitches.

    It's not even the Yankee fan in me speaking because nothing could top both League Championship Series'. Even last year, the World Series was anti-climactic after the League Championship Series(end results not being a factor).

    From what I saw, hardly anyone outside of the Red Sox and Cardinals fan base gave 2 chits about this World Series.

    Baseball season isn't over until ESPN and every other sports network and media outlet stops sucking the Boston Red Sox schlong.

    We've got at least about 2 weeks of slurping on hand.
