I am finally taking a much needed vacation this week July 4-8. I have never been to the area, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions on places to visit/hangout. I enjoy visiting historical sites but also really like doing what locals do. Thanks in advance for your help
I can't really help you with the local area, but tell us how the traffic is up there... from what I understand it's some of the worst in the nation.
In Boston, do a Red Sox game at Fenway, tour Fanuil Hall, walk around Cambridge & Harvard, eat Italian food in the North End, and have a pint at the Green Dragon.
Avoid the Boston Beer Works. Go to the Cask and Flaggon after a Fenway game. Buy a Yankees Suck t-shirt.
Make sure you have some linguica pizza and some stuffed quahogs Go to p-town out on the end of the cape and go whale watching. While you're waiting, you can watch lesbians make out. ...okay; that was really tacky.....but I'm gonna leave it.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I made a list of all these places and will visit as many as possible. Dr of Dunk, It sucks about the traffic...I guess it doesn't help that I rented a minivan, and its gonna be july 4th weekend Have a Happy Independance Day everybody!
