    KG still out.

I still think the Celtics will beat the Cavs in the ECF.

Best record in the NBA is a lock for Cleveland unless injuries become an issue. Their remaining schedule is a cakewalk. Boston needs to worry about staying ahead of Orlando.

if you really think that, if they do indeed face in the ECF, I'll give you 1.5:1 (so for every $1 you bet, you get $1.50 if you win), I bet you $1,000 cleveland will win.

and btw big Z was out for cleveland when boston was @ cleveland, and cleveland blew them out, so no "boston blew out cleveland without KG when boston was at home" argument.

Except for the fact that I don't really care who comes out of the East (I think the Lakers will be favored in the Finals), I'd take you on your bet. The Celtics have the better chance of beating the Lakers then the Cavs, so maybe that's why I'm pulling for the Celtics also. Lakers/Cavs finals would just be a nonstop Kobe/LBJ nuthugging talk instead of basketball.

Not that I really care for arguing against your Big Z point, but Big Z being out for the Cavs does not equal KG being out for the Celtics. And Boston return the favor to the Cavs (in Boston) recently without KG.

did you not see the part?

losing big Z is big for the cavs, they're much worse without him

you got someone reputable we can escrow the funds too? i'm serious about the $1,000

I'd like to see Mo Williams out for the same amount of games that KG has been out, and see how the Cavs do. That to me is a better barometer. Just because the Cavs are thin at the frontcourt doesn't mean Big Z's importance equals KG's importance to the Celtics. In fact if you take both out the Cavs would have a way better chance of beating the Celtics in a series.

And since you're the one who suggested it, you should do the legwork. Good luck.

that doesn't change the fact that big Z is big for cleveland, KG's importance is probably 2x as important to the celtics, I agree, but that doesn't mean big Z isn't important.

umm guy you're the one who's been posting since 2005 with 6000 posts so you should know who is reputable. if you don't want to do the bet just say it, instead of trying to beat around the bush.

That just means I'm right and you just agreed with me.

ummm...what does me being around longer have to do with you should do all the work for the bet, just for the fact you suggested it?

And no I don't bet on teams I really don't care for. That still does not change my stance on the Celtics beating the Cavs in the ECF, if the Cavs make it that far.

will you just accept the fact that you won't take the $1,000 bet? geez it's not like I expect everyone to take the bet just cause I say it, it's fine if you don't want to, but don't try to weasel your way out and make yourself look cool like you could actually take it.

The Celtics were missing KG. Weren't the Bucks missing Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut?

Celtics swept the Bucks last year 4-0 in the regular season, and only Bogut missed a game out of those 4.

A Celtics team with a healthy KG > a Bucks team with a healthy Bogut and Redd
