It's like too many people give this guy a pass as well. I understand LeBron had the Decision special, but why wasn't this game televised nationally as well? I would have loved to see how the fans would have reacted to Bosh returning. They might have thrown canadian bacon for all we've known.
Because people don't care about Bosh going back to Toronto. No reason for that game to be nationally televised.
Then what was the point of Lebron heading back to Cleveland televised? TNT could have kept that game for their local channel but instead put it on the national stage, so that they could taunt Lebron. Why is this one any different? Chris Bosh is a star in this league as well.
every former raptor player gets booed in toronto regardless of how good they were. hell, even pops mensah-bonsu would get the treatment
LOL I don't even think it was on TSN in Canada It was on TSN2, shows how much people don't give two shet lol
you cant even remotely compare he hate that Cleveland had for Lebron leading up to that game compared to the what Toronto fans think about bosh.
LeBron James is a superstar in this league. Do you really not see the difference in LeBron returning to Cleveland? You seriously think it's the same?
Lebron going back to Cleveland was just a bigger deal on the national stage. No one cares about Bosh.
Hardly anyone gives a damn about basketball in Canada. It's a pity,in the birth place of this great game.
I'm not saying it's the same. Chris Bosh was the best player and a superstar at his position for the Raptors. He left a team to be part of the Miami Trio. He was the franchise player just like LeBron. I'm not saying that they are equally talented and status'd supreme, but they were just as important to their teams. Almost all of the game plays for Toronto was for Bosh.
Lebron was from Ohio, raised in Akron, played high-school ball at the CAVALIERS arena......The guy was basically a legend before he even got to the pros. When he was drafted to Cleveland a city with epic sports failures, he was meant to be the "chosen one" the air to MJ. He was supposed to lead that city to a championship. Instead he left them with failures and disappointment+ a slap in the face in the way he exited. There is no comparison at all between Bosh's return to Toronto and Lebron's to Cleveland. Not even close. Bosh a guy from Texas who is returning to Toronto where he played a good individual career but had no great success with the team nor made basketball relevant in the city. Lebron forever changed the city and history of Cleveland. Bosh didn't even leave a footnote.
Honestly, Bosh's exit from Toronto doesn't even come close to being as bad as Vince Carter's exit from Toronto. Much less LeBron's exit from Cleveland.
LeBron is what we in the states call a SUPERSTAR. Bosh is an all-star that spent his career in a low-exposure Canadian team in Toronto. LeBron sells. Bosh does not.
T-Mac claims when he first went back to Toronto after leaving via free agency that it was the toughest crowd he has ever played in.
Raptors fans will boo every single former player that ever played. They developed insecurity issues about players. After like 7 years they still can't get over Vince Carter, and they never will.
