Ok, so i bought these sweet headphones several months ago... but now they are mest up. Only one side of the headphones work, but I can sometimes get the other earpiece to work if i rotate the plug that goes into the ipod/computer/whatever you're pluggin it into. This rotating business is a pain in the ass and just want to get the problem fixed. Is this a loose wire or is it somethign else and mainly is it fixable? Any help would be appreciated. I really want this to work again because for one they are my only headphones and two these damn things were expensive and should work. Thanks!
Cue the audiophiles to come and snicker at another Bose purchase! Don't they come with a warranty? Sorry, can't help ya.
Bose is really good. Its just not good enough for its outrageous price. But you might not have many choice with headphones anyways. Now if you had bought any of those Bose Lifestyle speakers for $3000 you might have needed an ass whoopin. BOSE - Better Off with Something Else
First, let me let this out: "No highs, No lows, must be Bose!" BOSE - Better sound through marketing Secondly: Go pick up some Sennheisers or Grados for less than half of what Bose charged you for those. OK, done with the audiophile rant - sorry!
Personally, I don't like BOSE. Yes, they look cool, but they are pricey, and more importantly, the sound feels artificial, and it's actually artificial.
I would never buy a Bose product for one simple reason... they will not give you their specifications. It drives me nuts. No range of frequency response, not signal to noise ratio, etc., etc. I have never understood it. And I don't like the fact that they have a large mail order business selling products that, you guessed it, say nothing about their specs, like the Wave Radio. It just bugs me.
while i believe bose is grossly overpriced i do like their products. I have some quiet comfort 2 headphones and they are just great. The feel wonderful and the sound has been amazing.
Whatever. I use Bose in the living room, on my computer, and for my headphones. I don't have any complaints about the sound and I don't care what their specs are or whatever you guys are on about. Anyway, just take your headphones into a Bose store. My roommate and I took his QC2's in because they were making a clicking sound and the guy just replaced them on the spot, no paperwork or anything. That actually convinced me to buy a pair a couple weeks later. They should be able to help you out. Worst case you'll get directed to a service center.
