Posted a triple double today! Man I've been saying all season, if the Rockets ever needed a player (which they do) this is the guy we need! He can pass like a PG, move like a SG,SF and play D on some PF...oh well just another pipe dream ..he puts up great numbers too I have him on my fantasy team :D

Didn't know if this should go in the Rockets or NBA section

The Rockets almost pulled off a trade with Atlanta for Boris Diaw last season ( I do not know if other players were involved from the Hawks in the proposed offer).

Looks like he would have been a nice pickup :D

Doesn't matter, he wouldn't have been utilized here properly anyways.

man the Suns cleaned up with the Joe Johnson trade. They save money by not having to pay Joe Johnson max money and then they get draft picks from a team that is doomed to the lottery for the forseeable future.

Diaw is playing good because of the system he is in. Wouldn't have worked with the Rockets.

Actually he can guard 7ft 6 centers as well. He shut down Yao.

Diaw is playing with a bunch of great shooters and a great passer. Here, he'd be just another guy that can't shoot, passing to other players who can't shoot.

Well he didn't do it by himself. He fronted and then had help sandwiching Yao.

yeah i had him on my fantasy too... picked him off waivers.. bad ass.. then later on some guy offered me zach randolph for boris diaw straight up.. something i couldn't pass up.. now i've had randolph for about a week :D .. still diaw is better all around... has the potential to fill up 5 categories (including blocks/steals) like a shawn marion-light

I think the trade talk for Diaw was related to the Jon Barry trade that ended up happening (with different players involved of course), but I know that the New Orleans trade was also apart of the equation. Jim Jackson & Boki Nachbar .....possibly those players were involved:) & that is my final answer, but I do not know the details at all so don't say this trade does not work under this or that salary cap number crunching:)

Looks like France may finally have a use to the world after all, an untapped market for basketball players. The Rockets might have to get in on the French connection...
