It wasn't a bad trade for the Rockets, considering that Jackson has been productive and they got out of MJ's contract.
I agree MJ's contract was an albatross. That worthless Sack. Bjax will be pivotal during our playoff run. In Last years series against the Jazz Rafer averaged nearly 45 mins per game. Ouch.
whats annoying is bonzi is dunking the ball now. he had like 3 dunks today. how come he didn't dunk that much for the rox.
bonzi was probally gonna leave us anyway for more money, might as well get used to playing without him.
i kinda thought he dunked a lot for us too. whatever, i like BJ. he'll be pretty crucial too come playoffs and Mike James is a piece of crap. win win for both teams.
+1. I thought he dunked a lot as well. He was the second most frequently dunker when he was here behind Yao Ming and in front of TMAC and Carl Landry, last i checked. Bonzi > BJ Bonzi and James = BJ James = negative value. James = fail.
Exactly.......Chris Paul is EVERYTHING to them...Bonzi, Chandler, West...they would all be a LOT worse if it were not for Paul. Having a PG that sets the table and gets easy shots for his teamates is AWESOME. And we have Rafer...ugh. DD
Last I heard, having a franchise 20/10 center and a top 15 all-time SG is pretty awesome too... Sometimes, there's a price to be paid
say bonzi leaves them after the season (and the hornets don't win the ship) would it have been worth the albatross contract of Mike James that they have to sit on?
They are over the cap they can use his expiring contract in a couple years. Its not a 6 year 50 mil deal.
another morey move that i was disappointed with and it has turned out to be the correct trade. we needed the PG depth and financial flexiblility more than bonzi. bonzi had that one insanely stupid game against us but he really hasn't done much other than that. getting rid of james' contract was just huge it gives us so much more trade flexiblity next year with b-jax's expiring contract. a very smart and forward looking trade by morey.
