Whoa! That's big news, if true. I really thought Bonzi could help us, once he got in shape. (has he really ever been in shape with the Rockets??) Bet Snyder loved reading this!

If that is true, what a shame. You have to get the guy minutes someway, Period.

I think the big problem with Bonzi is the fact that he's so prone to turnovers. He's a better defender because of his size, but he just can't control the ball. And it didn't seem to improve with more playing time. I wanted to see JVG play both Snyder and Wells at the same time, but I guess it's not gonna happen.

But Snyder... just does not appear to be very bright.

I don't understand why both can't be part of the rotation. Against quicker, more athletic teams play Snyder. Against more defensive oriented teams play Wells.

we need a coach that can actually relate to players. even musselman can get bonzi to freakin play. i mean, we can squeeze him in there for 15-20. mac only plays 38-39 (10 mins); battier 37-38 (10 mins)

I think the way I read it is - that is the opinion of the author. Frankly Bonzi can add to rebounds and scoring. We use Bonzi when it demands offense and Snyder when there is a need for Defense.

I really dont know this Luther fascination- execpt for his 3 point shooting, I dont think he can create offense like Bonzi does or play defense like Snyder ( and of course his size is a big negative- against the likes of Dallas, UTah et all)

To some extent, Bonzi is this year's Stromile Swift. When he gets extended playing time, something always happens. He just is not in sync with the team. Instead of forcing a square peg into a round hole, he should just disappear and end the charade. Again similar to Stro, Bonzi is just not going to produce. JVG stuck with him for a long time and he didn't improve very much at all. I'm ready to give up. For crying out loud, the season is 65 games old!

The scary thing is that we may have 2 Stromiles.... Snyder may be the other one... we'll see. Hopefully the guy fits in because Bonzi sure didn't.

Maybe he is right. Maybe JVG just prefers Kirk's defense and speed over Bonzi's scoring and low post presence. With Yao and TMac, we may not need Bonzi to post up much anyways.

Someone needs to sit JVG down in front of the video on Bonzi vs. the Spurs last year in the playoffs.

    JVG please play Bonzi.

If this is true, then it's just another example of JVG not putting winning as the number 1 priority and letting his personal feelings about players creep into the decision.

So why the hell didn't he get moved before the deadline? If he isn't going to play then management should have tried to get something for him....anything.

Yao, Tmac, AND Bonzi!? JVG wouldn't know what to do with all that offense! Better switch Bonzi with Snyder, or wait till either Yao or TMac gets hurt before bringing Bonzi back.

Hmm...we're 40-25. Yep. JVG has vendettas against his players as a higher personal priority then winning, so I guess it speaks to his coaching ability that the Rockets are doing a hell of a lot better then coaches actually LOOKING to win.

This has been a strange season, regarding Bonzi. I thought for sure he'd average 10 points per game and be a good defensive stopper.
