I've been meaning to post this for a while now, and after seeing the Atkins Diet thread I thought I'd make this a new one. Someone on here had posted something about Body for Life and I started looking into it, and I can't thank that person enough now. It's a 12 week program where you basically work out 6 times a week, and you eat sensibly, six portions of proteins and six portions of carbs, altho I can only manage about 4-5. I've lost about 13 pounds in 8 weeks, nearly 4" off the waist, and I actually have muscle definition ... my biceps are upto 14" It's not like the weight jsut went away and you have a blech body, the body is actually looking good: flat stomach and all. So much so, I can see definition and the VERY early stages of a 6-pack. Of course, working out is important for the diet, and I never thought I'd be able to do that, esp 6 days out of the week. but I've only missed 2 days in 8 weeks, and that too cuz it was raining so hard, I couldn't drive. The good thing is that the workouts are all less than 40 minutes for 3 days, and 20 mins for the other 3 days, so it's not impossible to do. Anyways, wanted to thank the person who posted that on here, and to encourage anyone looking to get back into shape, to definitely check it out.
