you have a list already?

    Put me up there.

Minor League Championships don't mean squat. We're talking Big Leagues here.;)

what openings will there be Finnster??? (aside from Dr of Slump spot:D)

perhaps you could also start a division 2 league as well next season and then the bottom 2 from the majors get relagated to div2 and top 2 from div2 get promoted to the Majors, like they do in european soccer!!!!!

Hey Bob. Sandbox won't be offering its traditional fantasy basketball this year. Instead they will be going with the CBS Sportsline format. I'm not sure exactly what this means with regard to scoring/drafting/league format, etc.., but it's something to look into.

Also, since I'm the champ, my vote should be twice as powerful. :D

    yea, no mo sandbox.

Might want to look and see what other kind of fantasy league sites there are. I'm in a yahoo football league, and that format seems alright to me.

A friend of mine plays on CBS Sporstline and he says it is pretty good.

I didn't care much for the Yahoo baseball format. I dunno what basketball is like.

    hehe

We had that one guy (can't recall the name) who was booted for not being active enough. Sandbox replaced him.

fade- I was not aware that sandbox was not having the basketball this year. I will look into the cbs sportsline thing. I am currently in a footy league there, so I will check into it.

Well, as far as I know, the sandbox website is offering fantasy basketball... it will just be the cbs.sportsline format.

Check here for Sandbox's official statement:

    Excuses, excuses. :p

This year I won't have as many scheduling conflicts where I get the second highest score in the league but still lose. This year my second highest fantasy point producing player won't go down in the second week of the season.

We'll see who whips who's *ss.

I would think Marion gets picked in the first round this year. I will find another diamond in the rough and not trade him away this year.

As far as the League this season, I checked out Yahoo and it looks promising. I will wait for cbs sportsline to post info as to how they will run fantasy basketball this year.

One option is to hold our very own draft.

    1. We could make a thread and hold the draft in the thread. Everyone would need to have their own list made up and keep track of who was already picked, in order to cut down on the "He was already picked" confusion that always happens in these type drafts.

    2. (Very Unlikely) We hold the draft in the chat room. Getting everyone together at one time is close to impossible (as we have seen)

As far as our own draft, I would set up a league on either Yahoo or cbs sportsline after we held our own draft, set up the scoring system to everyone's satisfaction. After that, it would run similar to Sandbox ran last year.

The other option is to use either Yahoo's or cbs sportsline's online draft (have heard some complaints about the live drafts)

Interested in some feedback on this from the owners.

I don't think I was in your league last year, but I'd be glad if you put me on any list to get voted on. I don't think I'd win a vote anyway, but I'd be active and near the top ;) should I get into the group.

Phi, you were in it last year. You kinda stopped visiting your roster towards the end as your team slumped. But you are a member already.

We are 11 strong with 1 opening.
