He should be on during the first half of the program. Hopefully he doesn't faint during the interview.
actually....he just said that Sura will be on in the second half after practice.... I dont see how he is gonna have time....from how Barry talked, practice was coming up when he was on the line with 610...and that was a little before 10...Rome is over at 2...unless VG is running short practices...Sura might not make it on. Seems like Rome is talking up Tmac....I dont listen to this guy often....has he always said good stuff about Tmac or is this just another media hack jumping onthe wagon? Never confuse hasn't won yet with can't win...
Can someone please explain to me the origination of the "Sura Faints" thing? I think it is pretty funny, but would like to know what it means.....
It refers to a Chinese joke that someone posted a while back. In the joke where Sura was supposed to be surprised or something, it translated to "Sura Faints." Search is disabled right now, otherwise I would find the thread for you.
I am trying to remember---- wasn't it originally "Sura falls faint" ? Something about that is even funnier. Thyat thread, by the way was one of the funniest EVER.

It was originally "Sura fall in a faint" which I think is much funnier than simply "Sura Faints". That slightly off grammer just gives it a little more umph.

Jim Rome isnt jumping on the bandwagon. Steve was a Rome regular. Rome has been expecting a little more out of Yao though, but then again so have some of us. Rome will give props where they are due. I think Jon Barry also is a regular guest on Rome. Sports Radio 610 is one of Romes original affiliate stations. Rome has MUCH LOVE for H-Town!!! He even chose to stay on 610AM for this reason instead of following his ESPN counterparts to 790AM. Thanks for the update. Im listening.
Rome said that the Rockets have contacted him and said that JVG is running the Rockets hard at practice. Not likely to see BoB Sura today. Sura fainted.
