Got this from a friend in Sac Town....

The local radio stations have been talking about a strong possibility that BJax is leaving Sactown...he wants to start (he deserves it...) and he is still hurt from the criticism he received while injured during this past years playoffs...on the other side, some management is still angry that he didn't try to play during the playoffs...

Where would/could he be traded and for what?

Is Jax a good fit here? I dont see it. He is more of an energy PG that looks to score. I think he is IDEAL coming off the bench. He should stick with that routine.

I just dont think the Rockets really need a scoring / shoot first PG.

BUT, if we could get him for Taylor..I'd do it. :D

Does Matt Jax also do a show in Sac? But, seriously folks...

If BJax were available I'd jump. My sense is they would want Howard (to buddy up his buddy). They also want cap relief. They want to keep Songalia. So, what's left? Howard and Pike for Bobby Jax and Christie? Or a three-way. Or, no way.

What type of injury did he have last season? I don't recall.

TMac okay with that? I remember them coming to blows one Sac vs Magic game, but who knows, Peeler and Garnett are best friends and they came to blows in the playoffs, they could be best friends:D

Jackson would be welcomed with open arms as far as I'm concerned. He is a monster defensively, and will knock down open shots. With Bibby entrenched, and Sactown's window still open,I could see a deal getting done.

Bobby Jackson would be sweet. From Kings point of view who would you want from the rockets? IMO we have no one the Kings need. Their pfs are better than ours. Not like they need an sf. We have nothing to offer unless they are targeting the TE. And I have seen where the Maloofs aren't intrested in taking on more salary. I believe the Kings are over the tax threshold.

According to what I read, the Kings low-balled Vlade and let him walk rather than pay him more than half of their MLE due to LTax concerns. (Haven't heard that expressed for awhile.) Bobby Jackson is a steal for the Kings @ $3.1m and he's in the final year of his contract. Howard, Taylor, and Spoon all make more $ and have longer contracts so you can forget those trades.

I like Jackson, too but he's unrestricted next summer. Without involving other Kings, Lue (also final contract year) can be traded in December and works capwise with Nachbar.

Jackson is too old to be the long-term solution as a starter. Let's wait.

My worry is the abdomen injury from last year. Sometimes those things never heal right and given Jackson's age, he my be prone to future injuries. Didn't Pike have the same type of injury last season?

    Pike had an ankle injury.

Then he won't get to use his skills in Houston.

How about the TE and our first round pick next summer for Jackson? Would the Kings do this deal?

I would love Bobby Jax to come to the rockets, but I'm not sure he's worth the TE & 1st rounder at 31 yrs young...

    I'd rather Antonio Daniels...

This would be a sweetheart of a deal for Houston. Christie looks weird, but he's an incredible defender and he helps teams win.

why not just give the TE, the kings are tyring to avoid the luxury tax thats why they didnt sign vlade.

How about Bobby Jackson to the Sonics, Antonio Daniels to the Rockets, a portion of the TE and a Sonics second rounder to the Kings?

I would rather have Daniels. Jackson's no good when the offense slows down, and is getting old.

The Sonics want to run, want short contracts, it fits nicely.

But are the Kings looking for players or money? If they'd rather have Lue and Reggie Evans, that would work too I believe? But Ithink they'd prefer TE and second rounder, because I heard they want to cut salary.
