Which of the following combo of players would you start a team with if given the opportunity? I picked the top two players drafted in the second round each year from 1997-2002...

    Carlos Boozer #35 (2002)
    Ronald Murray #42 (2002)

    Gilbert Arenas #31 (2001)
    Mehmet Okur #38 (2001)

    Marco Jaric #30 (2000)
    Michael Redd #43 (2000)

    Gordan Giricek #40 (1999)
    Emmanuel Ginobili #57 (1999)

    Rashard Lewis #32 (1998)
    Cuttino Mobley #41 (1998)

I'm assuming that "1998" is going to dominate most of the choices, but give the other years a fair shake.

    Personally, I like 2002...

Interesting. Yea, I would agree with '98 but the sad part is that we couldve gotten BOTH of them :(

    I would agree with 2002.

    1999 wasn't too bad either.

I just think that it is pretty cool that two of my favorite non-Rocket players in the NBA (Ginobili, Arenas) were drafted in the second round and have become stars in a relatively short amount of time.

Look how many were drafted by good teams almost as 'futures', 40%.

Probably couldn't have kept both of them though.

One or the others growth through the system wouldn't have been the same, and they probably would never have been able to show their potential.

Here are my rankings. I went with one bigger star over two good players. I also admit no love for Murray (to few games to judge by)

    1998
2001 This was close to #1
    2000
    1999
    2002
