On ESPN 790 David just said e would have more info near 4PM.
Will post more info asap on this.
Has anyone heard anything about it?

    UPDATE:

Mc Nair was in the Texans locker room after practice today to make a plea to the fans through the media:
Nows the time to rally around the team with Indy coming in here on Sunday.
Fans are frustrated just like we are.

When asked if he's lost the fans:
Nows the time we need to hear from them.
If we dont hear from them it means we've lost them.

When asked about the Seahawks Game:
That is not the kind of team and effort we want to have.
Its not the kind of effort that is going to make us proud.
It is totally unacceptable and we are not going to have that.

To the fans???? We can't go get an O-line for you, Bob. Have you pleaded with Casserly and Capers? The longer this season wears on, the more disgusted I am with that offseason. Dismantle and downgrade a good defense into a bad one, and leave alone a bad O-line so that it gets even worse. F-freaking-minus. Chucky would have got a freaking zero, but he gets bonus points for courting Orlando Pace so F- will do.

Yeah, F that. The fans have already poured in their money in advance, just to have to become the new wear-a-paper-bag-on-your-head franchise in the league. Only winless squad in the league. Fewest points scored in the league. Fewest YPG in the league. Only barely over 100 Passing YPG (also a league low). Fourth-most YPG allowed in the league. Second-most Rushing YPG allowed. Fourth-most Points allowed in the league.

No radio or TV commentary can say the franchise's name without adding the terms "hapless" or "horrible". We aren't just the worst team in the league, we're pathetic and offer nothing to entertain the fans.

I say this, and I have season tickets. What am I supposed to cheer about? The single touchdown that happens in the 4th quarter to cut the lead to 25? Watching the opposing team stack up its season highlight reel? David Carr escaping without a sack once or twice?

It's time to clean house. My guess is that Sunday will be the last full house of the season, and that's only because of Peyton & Co's draw. You're crazy if you think 70 thousand are going to sit through Cleveland, Arizona, and the like with a show this miserable on display.

He wants to plead with us.....get Carr protection. Get some actual players and fire the ones that are not doing the job - Casserly/Capers/Pendry/Fangio.

Hell yes you have lost the fans. Fire the GM and Coach and you will get us back because we are not happy with the current direction of the team.

The owner should begin the firings on the orginzational chart from the spot right under owner. The Texans are worse this seaons then any of their previous seasons. Not even close to being competitive.

Ha thats funny. I'm a loyal fan, I'm not going anywhere.

Will I watch the game? of course, will I pay 70 bucks or so just to sit in the nose bleed to watch the team embarassed? No way

This isn't high school or college football.

If they charge insane prices across the stadium than you better put on a good show. If the Texans show that than maybe I'll fork over some money to catch a game later on.

    Im rooting against them now.
Who ever suggested that, your right, it does make the games more fun.
Plus, If we go 0-16 Jim Rome promised a tour stop!!!

05-06 Offseason was a MAJOR BRAINFART!!!

Unfortunately if I was McNair I wouldnt know where to begin.
I mean firing Capers and Charlie will save you face for only so long.
They drove this franchise into the ground. I think we are looking at years of recovery. We have so many gaping holes, and no expansion draft this time!!!

Man, the Texans have constantly hyped, marketed, and sold this team to us. At some point, you've got to deliver what was promised. No one ever expected a Superbowl in 5 years, but everyone can agree that the team shouldn't be moving backwards in year 4. We've been sold a lemon, and he wants us to buy $70 tickets and $8 beers to watch the Colts squeeze that lemon? What the #$%*?

Yeah I'm going to the game on Sunday so that I can taunt our sorry excuse for an offense.

    Meanwhile, AJ's still "injured."

What the hell? Does Bob realize we had professional football in this city before the Texans? The city is not blind to crappy play and crappy management. I'm not going to cheer for this current team until heads roll. Somene needs to be accountable and it's not the fans.

what did he say that was so wrong or offensive??

said he's frustrated and he knows the fans are, too. says he wants to keep hearing from them, because it's better than fan apathy. says the effort he's getting from the team is unacceptable.

what in the world do you disagree with, here?

Will I go if I get free tickets? Of-****ing-course.
Will I pay 60 bucks for cheap nose bleed seats? ****, I had trouble parting with my 70 bucks for SRO tickets for Astros GAME 5 of tne NLCS. Football prices are ridiculous, and unless we have a team worth paying that much to go watch, I'll sit my ass at home and watch the game on TV. I won't stop watching, but no way I fork out that cash for a mediocre team.

The people I feel sorry for the most are the people that paid that ridiculous PSL license and then paid more money for the seat that they just paid the PSL fee for.

I didn't catch what he said; it may have all been appropriate and well-timed.

I was admittedly just taking the opportunity to whine like a little baby because I wish the Texans were 5-0 instead of 0-5. Also I hate that they didn't upgrade the O-line. Other than that, it's cool.

put a team on the field that can actually compete at the NFL level then you will have the support of the fans. but you've shown a complete inability to do that so yes the fans are mad with you. that's what happens when you don't improve a 7-9 football team, they get WORSE.
