These guys have been pretty good for a long time now. I saw this album today at Best Buy and almost bought it. I knew they had a new one coming out, but I didn't know it came out today. Anyways, here's the first video. I'm not sure about the song yet, that weird Donald Duck sounding voice in the background isn't very cool. The video is awesome though. http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/blur/artist.jhtml It's called "Crazy Beat."
It's a great album. Buy it. At first I was actually a little let down by the whole "world music" vibe, and that Graham Coxon wasn't on the CD, but listened to it a little bit, and it grew on me quickly. People remember blur for Song 2 (Woohoo, aka Number 12 Most Annoying Song Ever), and few realize that they are much more than a one hit wonder. They prove their worth yet again with another solid effort.
Five favorite Blur albums (in order). 1. Great Escape 2. Blur 3. Parklife 4. 13 5. Modern Life is Rubbish I'm picking up the new one today, along with the new Prince Paul album.
Hmmm. Might have to check that out. I've always heard good things about them but all I know is Song #2 and Coffee and TV (don't know if that's the name or not). I like Supergrass a lot and people always tell me "if you like Supergrass, you'll love Blur".
Oski, Get their greatest hits first. If you like that, then you will probably like this new album; however, that is a guess because they may have completely changed their style (but I doubt it). "The Universal" is my all-time favorite song by them.
