This movie has been on AMC all day, I once again realize that this movie is great. It's genius in comedy, so sad that John Belushi died so young.
My favorite movie. Not that I need to watch it for the 1517th time, but thanks for the heads-up, I'm flipping over.
Elwood: It's got a cop motor of four hundred and forty cubic inch plant, it's got cop tyres, cop suspension, cop shocks, it was a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do ya say, is it the new Blues Mobile or what?
Whever I see the blues mobile collapse at the end, right after they get to their destination, I now always think of Steve McNair. For some reason, I fear that he somehow holds himself together now, but the day he stops playing, he'll be in for some serious problems. Actually, I'm kind of worried about his future... just like I was worried about Earl Cambell's (and rightfully so).
Bite you tounge!!! John Goodman is NOT a Blues Brother. Neither is that annoying little kid. But I did like the jam session at the end.
