The next couple of years will be interesting after the Democratics claimed the majority in the House of Representatives. Poll above ^^
Force the truth to come out ... about everything . Trump might have actually helped America in the long run because now the average person pays more attention to what's going on . The problem is that there is a massive credibility problem both with trump and the media in that they are saying different things. The government should empower the people and make it easier for citizens to obtain correct , factual , unbiased information. We really do need to drain the swamp . It's about time for another economic downturn and people need to wisen the **** up about how things actually work . The democrats need to play their part . Unfortunately this won't happen because political parties are about gaining power .
Lol these options are mostly terrible ideas... You won't impeach any of those men because they are innocent unless proven otherwise. Focus on 2020 is an obvious one but dems need to work on moderating their party message because they come off as too far left to most centrists. AKA avoid running hard core socialists and stop using identity politics to create victim naratives. Proposing social programs is fine, but the minute you suggest socialism or run a Cortez, you go too far left. Oh and they should stop calling everyone who disagrees with them deplorable or a literal nazi. People will take them more seriously if they put their big boy pants on and stop this grade school level crap. One of the other problems facing the dems is this "orange man bad' narrative. Enough. The idea that your party message is we aren't the orange man, is weak. The dems need to have an actual message and plan, that isn't A: we aren't Trump. and B: yay Socialism
There is no attack on ACA just like they wont build that wall - the GOP wants neither. They have had 7+ years to run on repeal and replace , they controlled both houses of Congress and did nothing - they acted like it was a big deal for a while then just let it fade away. Hell they didn't even bring it up in the mid terms. Both these things were just to get the base riled up …. The insurance lobby gives them just as much $$$ as they do the Dems who allowed the lobby to write their own ticket. ACA isn't going away …. unless we get significant support to push for single payer. There's no going backwards on this issue. Could you imagine the outcry if they took away care from those 20m people that got coverage from ACA or those with pre-existings ? They'd be cutting their own nuts politically.
Pay attention Arnold: Two questions - 1) Did the GOP have a majority in both the house and senate for the last two years ? 2) Did they repeal ACA or just talk about it ?! If they wanted it done , they'd have done it.
It would appear you don't understand how Congress works and you don't understand the manner in which Republicans have sabotaged ACA nor do you apparently know about Trump's lawsuit to strip protections for pre-existing conditions in insurance. Maybe you need to pay attention a little more before you make ignorant assertions.
Except they are currently in lawsuits to strike down the security for those with pre-existing conditions.
