When it was VHS vs Betmax, there was not internet p*rn.

Blu-Ray still has Disney.

 

Who buys p*rn dvds? That's physical evidence right there.

 

its not just the purchasing of but also rentals. i would be curious enough to rent a hd-dvd p*rn to see how it looks. maybe i just would throw up since i would be able to clearly see all the surgery scars, botox and makeup.

either way it may not have the ramifications of vhs and betamax but it will cause a problem for blu-ray

I know that the p*rn industry still makes gobs of money, but is most of that Internet? With the kind of cash it pulls in it would seem that there still has to be an important market for actual video (not downloadable).

I'm sure there are some p*rn experts out there that could tell us.
