yeah jeff they are cool.... some people i know had a good one on their site.. they run their own server, hosting, etc so that's how i first saw them.. friend of mine set one up for a bunch of us to use.. but apparently we dont have much to say. so after the first week or so it got awefully quiet.. . i geuss that is because we see each other everyday face to face... maybe next year when we are all off to college it will be going good again.. seemed like half the blogging done by people i know was in the middle of other classes lol i know i'll have to be blogging or posting or something somewhere. because i have to stay in touch with houston sports.. and i have a feelling vanderbilt doesn't have very many houston sports fans..
Seems like they could have a lot of uses. Everything from journals to discussions would work. I think it would probably work well as a job log as well - keeping track of jobs you are doing.
Seems to me like it could be used for a lot of things... posting news to your site a makeshift message board a journal keeping members of a group updated on joint activities (like a team at work, for example) Pretty cool given that it is free.
