It's only 99 cents for up to 5 days past due but it still sucks. Oh well, Netflix is looking better (maybe good enough for me to switch from Blockbuster Online.......)
Like the old policy, you buy it. I think you have another week to return it with a $3 restocking fee. After that, you own the movie.
I wonder if this applies to their monthly program? I'm on the 1 movie/game out at a time for like $20 month. Great deal as I rent many PS3 games and Blurays.
Wake me when it has a 10K library and Blu Rays Still, I'd be buying some Netflix stocks if stock market look even halfway reasonable.
A pain in the a$$ to whoever wants to rent something that's all out! I haven't rented a movie in ages though.
Yeah, but one of the BIG reasons why I chose Blockbuster over Netflix was because I know I can exchange envelopes for movies. Now it just makes my life that much more difficult. It's still not horrendous, but I used to like returning the movies knowing I can keep any movie up to a week to watch on my leisure. Now, I can't.
Giving them a positive post, they are doing a buy one used game at >=$14.99 get one game <= 14.99 free. Might not sound that good until you actually consider how much better their prices are compared to Blockbuster and even Amazon used (when you factoring shipping). I picked up Devil May Cry for PS3 for $19.99 and got No More Heros for the Wiii for free. I also think I saw Mario Galaxy for $24, just a quick FYI.
my friend works as a gm at blockbuster and i always tell him its going under, no one is gonna pay 5 dollars when they can pay 20 a month to rent on netflix or a dollar at redbox. even if he sells those blockbuster online things, hes not getting any money except that initial flat rate. he keeps saying that business is better than ever yet for a while there have been more than a few all over the city closing down.
Tell me about it. When I first saw the thread title, i was like "Blockbuster? people still go there?" There's not way their business can be up.
