NEW YORK - Blink-182 is taking a break — and it could be a long one. The San Diego-based trio is on "indefinite hiatus" and "there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again," Geffen, their record company, said in a statement Tuesday. Blink-182 has released seven albums of new-school punk over the last decade, including a greatest hits disc. Geffen cited the band members' families as the reason for the break. "For over a decade, Blink-182 has toured and done nonstop promotion all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends," the statement said. All three band members, Travis Barker, Thomas DeLonge and Mark Hoppus, are married and have one child each. The door was left slightly ajar for a reunion, though, as the statement concluded, "no one knows what tomorrow may bring." If you are a fan, this must suck. But I personally found their music to be whiny pretend punk crap. But that's just me. link-182
What a sad, sad day for music. First the news about KoRn (or however the hell they spell it) and now this. Will music ever recover?
They've made some good songs. They're one of the "punk" bands of recent memory that doesn't come off as totally annoying because they actually have some talent.
No, Manny Ramirez is dead. But he set up in his will a bot to post in his place so people on the Internet would never know anything different.
Dang it, their last album was good imo, a little more mature at least...i got hooked on them when i was in 7th grade, but i should of seen this coming, after all the splitting apart with different bands...oh well

I used to like them, but I hate them for spawning such horrible bands like Good Charlotte and New Found Glory.
Well...I will miss their yearly contributions to the Madden soundtrack. Other than that, I really only liked about 4 songs of theirs. When I saw them on 'Cribs', I could see that they really seemed to be alot more mature than their music. I guess marriage and kids will do that to you. Also, it looked like they were LOADED!!!!
