no. their defense is PERFECT on us right now and nate just found out last night in the 2nd half he only needs to front yao with one guy with little help.

i think they're sacrificing offense for defense. yao and aldrige simply have to make shots. and that's what nate thinks. if roy and aldridge make shots, they win. their defense is perfect right now.

nate isn't gonna change his game plan. it was a tight game last night.

and seriously, no coach is going to listen to rosen.

Very nit-picky, as is his style, but that was a fun read.

They need to play sergio more when he is on fire. Blake needs to recognize when a player is on fire and pass to him in the clutch instead of firing up a running 3pt shot. LOL

You know....a couple years ago......I would be terrified with the aspect of a team going small with young athletes....but not now.......

2 things....we finally have some youth and athletisism that we sorely missed in years past........I would love to see yao dominate somebody like lamarcus or outlaw trying to guard him....that would be laughable at best.....you can be small but you still need some beef to push him and not let him go to his spots and irritate him with your strengh......lamarcus or outlaw would be a joke on yao........

secondly if it were to bother yao.....we can counter and go small as well with landry back in the lineup and scola at the 5......bring it on....

bottomline roy is there best player.......and in order for them to really have a chance to win this series.....with there offensive woes thus far scoring in the 80s........realistically roy needs to average 25 to 30ppg for them to have a chance because i dont see anyone else picking up the slack and helping him......and thats just to much pressure to put on the young guy by himself.....he cannnot carry this team on his back ala kobe, lebron, wade.....I just dont see it...

yep i agree.. their defense right now gives them the best chance to win.. they may adjust late in game 4 if they're down and need to make a run.. but either way i think we're equipped to handle anything they throw at us
