mario was all around the QB all day, just didnt get there quick enough. He was also being held and the tackles were getting help...hardly his fault.

I saw that and didn't even bother reading. How can you blame the only man that actually comes to play nearly every game and is more than half of your so called defense?

If I were him I'd point the finger right back to you, and not the index finger, for being so ungrateful.

    Sad, so sad.

    Terrible thread title.

Mario didn't have what I would call a good day, but he made several plays in the running game and was collapsing the pocket on passing downs.

...and if we're pinning our hopes of a competent defense coming together on the return of Jacque Reeves it's gonna be a long, long year.

yup. How can the title of a article be calling one person out, but the article only mentions that player in one sentence?!

Justice should stick to baseball only. That way, I don't have to read him.

From the press box view, you could see Mario routinely drawing double teams -- and that really highlights just how terrible the tackles are. Even with Mario drawing doubles all over the place, they were very rarely able to capitalize on anything.

That Richard Justice gets the run he does is one of life's great mysteries.

I was a big Justice fan a few years ago but he has been horrible on his blogs and columns the last year or two. How can you blame Mario as he was constantly in the backfield trying his best BY HIMSELF. Justice seems to be the typical armchair guy who doesn't see why it happens but just what happens. I will still read his MLB stuff but even that has gotten annoying with his flip flopping. Overall ok blog just horrible reasoning behind it.

The few plays I specifically watched Mario on, he was definitely getting double-teamed. Usually I watch for that kind of thing the 2nd time I watch the game, but this time, I went ahead and just deleted the game right after it was over.

    I’m sure you understand.

Mario may not have the sack numbers everyone would like so far this season, but he has been getting pressure on the QB on a fairly consistent basis.

Yeah, Justice is a poon, I cant stand the guy.

He gets sacks in bunches so he should still end the season with a good amount.

Yeah, he will end up with the numbers at the end of the season. Mario Williams is the least of my concerns with the Texans. Amobi Okoye, and Fred "Shoulder Tackle" Bennett are just not what the Texans thought they would be. Oh, and Antonio Weaver is looking more and more like another free agent bust by the Texans.

Hard to get sacks when you're secondary would have problems covering old ladies in wheelchairs.
