Bottom line: Moochie wants too much cash. Sure, Fegan is a part of it but if Moochie really wanted to be here by now he would have signed. Moochie needs to wake up and realize just what he is: a back up point guard.

I say let's welcome Damon Jones and get on with the season.

I agree about Damon Jones, Old School...but I would much rather blame both guys. Fegan has been accused of dirty/unethical negotiation before. It is not stretch to imagine it is happening again.

According to the Chron tonight, the Rockets have offered 4 years, $12 million. Are you freakin' kidding me??? $3 million per season for a back up point guard and he won't take it??? I love ya, Mooch, but good GOD, that should be MORE than enough.

Any teams offering more? Unlikely...dirty tactics trying to make us sweat and give in. Not gonna happen. Moochie and Fegan are playing w/ fire and are likely to get burned.

    Dirty tactics?

All Moochie has to say is: "Fegan, tell the Rocket's I'll sign for what they want or I'll fire your a$$."

Let Moochie go. If he wants to play hardball, we should play hardball. He needs the Rockets more than the Rockets need him. Who's going to sign him for anything more than 1 mill?

    Enjoy playing in Greece, Moochie.

This isn't the first time the Rockets let an agent call them bluff, remember Matt Maloney? His agent was telling the Rockets that some team in Greece was offering Matt some serious money. The Rockets bit and signed him to 7yr 21 mill. Matt Maloney could onlt get his shot off when Hakeem was double teamed. Once teams stopped doing that, Maloney would go stretches without scoring. I'm not saying Moochie isn't better than Maloney, but he's a role player all the same.

I expect Fegan to be a jerk, but I'm quite unable to see what Moochie could possibly be thinking at this point. 4 years 12 million bucks to stay with a team you supposedly like as a well loved backup. WHAT COULD HE POSSIBLY BE THINKING? I REALLY wanted to see Moochie back in the Rockets pajamas, but he has made his own bed and now he will just have to lie in it. Does Moochie realize he could possibly end up on a team he doesn't like, in a system he doesn't fit, with a coach who doesn't want him, where he isn't appreciated by the fans, making less than one-third of what he might have otherwise made with the Rockets. Talk about a situation that would give you insomnia!!! Go ahead Moochie and keep letting Fegan fill your head with those sweet empty promises he is wispering in your ear!!! Wake-up boy and listen to some age old wisedom "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

As far as this fan is concerned, I surrender to the wisdom of Fegan and the avarice of Norris and hereby withdraw from the field. Who -- or what draft choices -- can we get for Moochie and where?

Hey, I am not saying that Moochie isn't ultimately responsible, I am just saying that Fegan has his part in it as well, and I prefer to hate him.
