If any of you are comedy fans, Blake Griffin is the guest on the new episode of Neal Brennan's (the skinny white guy co-creator of Chappelle's Show) podcast.

It's cool to hear an NBA star talk like an actual person and not a media robot. Blake's a funny dude, genuinely witty instead of the typical "athlete funny" which usually equates to being loud and obnoxious.

What's he going to do with Kemp's other 9 kids?

I can't wait till Shawn Kemp's son, Shawn Kemp Jr. makes it to the NBA in a few years and beats the crap out of Blake Griffin. Rivals Profile

Kemp Jr might beat the crap out of Taylor Griffin(if he's still in the league), but he ain't got nothing on Blake.

BTW in context, here is what Kemp said shortly following the dunk contest

“I’m a big Blake Griffin fan, but that dunk at the contest might’ve been the weakest dunk in the dunk contest that I’ve seen in a long time,” Kemp said. “I love the choir and all that stuff was great, but you at least gotta jump over the car though right.”

Kemp also said that he could jump over a car.

“I’m 41 years old and right now I could do it. Two Smart Cars,” he said.

Blake's no pushover, but I think Chuck is tougher/stronger.

Well he's got Kemp genes so he can balloon to 265 no problem I'm sure.

Blake Griffin is the best player to come in the league in the last 20 years.

Do you just post whatever thought comes to your mind without thinking about it twice? What about the main obvious ones like Lebron, Kobe and Duncan. Do you really think he's going to be better than them? These guys will go down at least top 20 ALL-TIME.

Big call dude. Just saying. He's a great player and all but is he that GREAT?

Blake Griffin is the worse defender I have seen with so much gifted size, athletism and talent.

I think he is talking about state when entering the league. Taking into account rookie year only.

If that is the case, he is the best big to enter the league since Duncan and best player since LeBron and that isn't debatable imo.

    Best within last 20, is.

Going on rookie season I have his rookie season 5th behind:

Sabonis (yeah, yeah, he was 31 and only played 23 mpg but his per-minute numbers are amazing)
    Shaq
    Duncan
Chris Paul (essentially push with Blake's numbers but Paul was already one of the best defensive PG's coming into the league)

Going by age (younger than 21) his season ranks 8th behind:

    Shaq
    Lebron
    Durant
    McGrady (yes)
    Bosh
    Duncan
    Paul

Is Blake in crazy good company and clearly a stud? Yes.
Is he the BEST out of the last 20 years? Hell no.
