Never seen a pro airball 2 in a row before. How does that happen?

Our of curiosity, how many of you recreational players have ever airballed a FT? I haven't played that much organised ball in my time, but I don't think I've ever even come close to airballing one.

Maybe he was trying to show Baron exactly how to throw the next allyop. He wants a reverse jam so it'll need to under thrown.

Blake Griffin seems to have morphed into Amare Stoudemire (Phoenix version) with less shooting skills this season. Kind of disappointing.

He has that Chuck Hayes pause right in between getting up and shooting the ball... That's probably a factor to him missing

You would think after the first one he would just be like : "allright, just get it up there and hit somethin"

In other news, I thought MerGady seemed to move pretty damn quick there right at the end. Seemed pretty explosive to me. Could he be a future superstar?

the funniest thing about the video was the discussion about if T-Mac should be considered to be in the HOF.

Calvin Murphy was on 610 today and they mentioned the same thing to him about how tmac thinks he belongs in the HOF.

    Calvin's response: "ABSOLUTELY NOT"

I have done it once. Came in real cold.. and out of the cold, no warm up, and the arms just weren't there. But yea pros have no excuse. Griffin's motion is broken..why come up with your legs if you are not going to use that motion to help you? He is all arms and even the arm motion isn't smooth in that he brings the ball up high then shoots. 3 motions instead of 1

I've seen at least a couple over the years in the many leagues I've played in, but have never air balled one personally and have never, ever, seen a player at any level air ball two of them back to back.

On a related note, at the Rockets Play Day last year Kyle Lowry was showing a group of fans how to properly shoot a free throw, and he air balled it.
