Yeah, we've got whackos here too.

If it ain't the queers getting us attacked it's those damn security guards!

What a dumbass. It's not as if the WTC was an elite country club of a building where only nobility was allowed entrance. It was regular old manhattan office space. Hell, the biggest tenant was state & local government offices. The thousands that died came from across the social & economic spectrum, from bond firm execs banking millions all the way on to immigrants washing dishes to send back to their families in Mexico - and came from all races, colors & creeds.

And the funny thing is, last time I was in there, most of the security guards at the WTC were black themselves.

Nice to see a washed up rapper speaking for the entire black community.

What the over/under on the time it takes for his "representatives" to issue a retractment statement?

Rapper: Blacks 'cheered when 9-11 happened'

    Knight Ridder Newspapers
    Oct. 14, 2004 03:08 PM

If Osama bin Laden ever buys a rap album, he'll probably start with a CD by KRS-One.

The hip-hop anarchist has declared his solidarity with al-Qaida by asserting that he and other African-Americans "cheered when 9-11 happened," reports the New York Daily News.

The rapper, real name Kris Parker, defiled the memory of those who died in the terrorist attacks as he spouted off at a recent New Yorker Festival panel discussion. advertisement

"I say that proudly," the Boogie Down Productions founder went on, insisting that, before the attack, security guards kept Blacks out of the World Trade Center "because of the way we talk and dress.

"So when the planes hit the building, we were like, 'Mmmm - justice.' "

The atrocity of 9-11 "doesn't affect us the hip-hop community," he said. "9-11 happened to them, not us," he added, explaining that by "them" he meant "the rich ... those who are oppressing us. RCA or BMG, Universal, the radio stations."

Parker also sneered at efforts by other rappers to get young people to vote.

"Voting in a corrupt society adds more corruption," he added. "America has to commit suicide if the world is to be a better place."

    What an a-hole.

If there is anyone who has ever earned the label "assclown" it is this guy.

Holy crap, I think I just agreed with texxx...

I guess that is why I don't see you in those threads. Do you just nod to yourself sans comment?

I'm not calling you out, there are a LOT of people that do exactly that as evidenced by the support I received when t_j called me out for creating "too many drug threads."

texxx, I think this falls under a different definition than dumb, or incredibly dumb... assclown, stupid or the worse things we all are thinking after reading this. This guy is mentally deranged. Seriously. He should be institutionalized, and I would never say that lightly. The man is insane.

Wow...what a jackass. It's a good thing nobody listens to or cares about his music anymore, otherwise he'd be in for a hellstorm of backlash.

Not trying to start anything, but I do agree that at one time, you were crankin' out the drug threads at a pretty high rate.

And I'm for the legalization of drugs, on moral grounds.

Concerning the article, I'm a patriot by no means. I don't all choked up over flags and "God Bless America" and the events of September 11th. I'm honest enough to admit that because I had no relatives in danger, and because I live halfway across the country, I really am very apathetic concerning the attacks. I never tried to jump on the bandwagon of people who were not affected by September 11th, but still wanted to be indignant and break down over it.

But this guy is taking it a little too far. Someone like this should get eaten alive by the media, but I doubt anything much will happen to him.

But if it had been some white guy claiming that the bombings of black churches was "Mmmm- justice"....

    So where's the standard?

On some topics we are in complete agreement. :D

    Here's a pic of KRS.

Maybe instead of posing with a stack of book she should crack one open occasionally. What a frickin dumbass. Check out his nickname, if he's the teacher no wonder so many kids are flunking out.

    Birth name Laurence Krisana Parker

    Nickname The Teacher

The name "KRS-One" stands for Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everybody.

Was homeless from the ages of 13 to 20.

Has an on-going battle with Nelly over what is real hip hop.

KRS-One is just trying to say something controversial in order to resurrect his flaccid "music" career. Nothing to see here. Carry on.
