Blackjack - 15 hit or stand? (no dealer involved)?

    In a game where you don't know your opponent's hand (one person vs one person) until they bust or stand, if you get 15, would you hit or stand?

    If possible, or hit or stand on 14,16 in the same situation?

    usually i play vegas style which the dealer shows one of the cards while he sees both my cards


    to answer your question i would hit 16 or lower, stand on 17 to 21 of course but thats how i would do it....at least in the way i play it

    Cards are not random, you can't know what the next card is, but you can do better than guess.

    hit, i always use 16 as the limit. a dealer told me, he works for a casino in new orleans.

    Better yet, does anyone else read the thread title?

    I agree it's kind of a stupid game, and the answer also has to do with the way your opponent plays(how likely is he to bust?).

    is pretty much

    HIT if dealer is showing 7 or higher

    STAY if dealer is showing 6 or under


    so if u dont know..... then is a random 50% u pick

    I hit on 14, stand on 15.

    It's a simple game of probability. Sometimes, it's an unnecessary risk to hit on 15 or 16.
