I'm not really sure there is a Blackberry "network" - you use your carrier's network. You not getting emails is likely a you specific thing. Mine is working just fine. AT&T Houston.
There is a blackberry network that can affect your blackberry's ability to receive/send emails regardless of your carrier. A few months back virtually every blackberry in the country went down for about half a day. Mine is working just fine today, however.
