The Lakers will have a chance to take back first place in the West, and preserve their franchise's hold on the best winning streak in NBA history, on Sunday when they travel to Houston. Houston's 21-game win streak surpassed the 20-game run by the 1970-71 Milwaukee Bucks. Now only the 1971-72 Lakers, with their epic 33-game win streak, are ahead of the Rockets.
