Riding a wave of recent martial art film successes, a new cable network called Blackbelt TV hopes to carry that popularity to the small screen by packaging it into a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week channel. Under the guidance of Hollywood producer Larry Kasanoff, the channel aims to draw viewers with replays of movies and television shows by martial arts stars like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Jet Li. That could be really cool. I just watched 5 Deadly Venoms recently, and it was great. I have been renting about 1 Kung-Fu movie a week, but that could get expensive. That channel sounds like a great thing. Thanks for the heads up.
NO!!!! Well, as long as they keep the Segal and Van Damme to a minimum, although I did like Bloodsport minus the cheesy romance scenes. I hope they don't limit it to the more commercialized martial arts movie stars. I'd love to be able to see some of the "Kung Fu Sunday" movies I used to watch as a kid.
