Hey there clutchfans, I recently adopted a tuxedo cat for my wife for Christmas. We live in an apartment, and the apartment is asking for a hell of alot of money to make the cat legit. We already have another cat. We just dont have the money to keep it, and we do not want to take it to the SPCA. I tried calling the adoption place, and they wont return my calls. If anyone is willing to take this cute little guy off our hands, we would appreciate it.
Will the tuxedo also fit on a small baby? I ask this, because my brother has a year 2009 baby, and is planning a formal family portrait for this spring. If that is the case, I will most likely agree to receive the cat for the tuxedo alone!
I'm not sure which adoption places you've tried, but if you haven't been having much luck, try either the Homeless Pet Placement League (www.hppl.org) or the Homeless & Orphaned Pets Endeavor (http://www.homelesspets.net). They foster animals until they can be adopted out to new owners.
Add to that Citizens for Animal Protection (www.cap4pets.org) on I-10 just before Dairy Ashford. Great folks.
Good luck with the cat man, I would take it if I could. I hate seeing animals without a home. I'll send some emails and see if I can find it a home, keep us updated in this thread on the status of the kitty. Thanks
Update on the gato. My sister actually took it and gave it to her sons. It will make a good home for the little guy.
