I'm a Christian, and a preacher...and I can honestly say that they should have driven away the man with water and tranquilizer guns. Actually, I suspect he needs serious medical help of the psychiatric variety.
Curious if anyone knows: is there any denomination of Christianity that thinks animals are in any danger of perdition?
lol!! what a nut job...reminds me of college days when these guys would come up to you on campus while youre walking to class and try to tell you about Jesus. theyre all freakin crazy...
Watch the video... check out how CALM the shooters are about putting the stuff in the guns... Are those guys COOL, or what...?
Hey, I resemble that remark... but I think some are just more naturally gifted in the preaching/witnessing area than others. There are some of us who just shouldn't be trying it. Also, that kind of direct evangelism (IMO) just makes people uncomfortable and bothers them when they'd rather be doing something else. It's like somebody trying to sell you something. They may buy it, just to give in, but does it really change their whole life? It may work for some people, but I think those tactics in general aren't a good idea. It doesn't mesh with the way our society operates today. Not to mention that, if you know someone well and care about them as a person and are friends with them no matter what, then they just might be more willing to listen to you about your religion.
Very good points Isabel. I think the Bible says Christians are to be a light to the rest of the world, so that others who do not yet believe will be drawn to the light and inquire for themselves.
