dont jump on me b/c this thread is similar to Rocket2K's thread w/ that 94 nba finals G1 torrent; this torrent is about games in general... to those of you that aren't familiar with BitTorrents, they are very similar to P2P file sharing, in that the more ppl that are online sharing the files, the quicker everyone is able to download said file. a while ago, someone posted a site w/ a whole lot of Rockets games torrents, old and new, as well as other NBA games, and i got in line to download them, but was unable to b/c not enough ppl were sharing them. i think what Rocket2K has started is actually really smart. if all of us pick a certain file [or files] to download, we can all concentrate on those few, and everyone can get them downloaded, and we can keep moving from game to game. as it is right now, you have to pray for a miracle for others w/ the complete file to be online and sharing/seeding. so this is a request/recommendation/suggestion that maybe, from now on, we all pick a game and seed/share that for a couple days and see the response, see how it works out. maybe we can keep it going, and we can spread the joy. either we can all work together and all get everything, or we all kinda work on our own and wait for completed files weeks at a time. Media Player Classic(with optional addons for quicktime and real) is one of the best out there right now for viewing them. for actually getting them....use whichever torrent program you want...I personally use azureus...some highliy recommend bitcomet. for any of the vids with a avi extension, you will need the xvid codec.
I would love to see one of the games in the 1995 series against the Spurs where Hakeem destroyed Robinson. I guess I'd love to get all of out finals games from 1994 and 1995 via Torrents so I could burn them to DVD's. All I have is the four games ion video tape and the quality of them is starting to fade.
I would LOVE hightlights to the 1995 playoffs. I don't care what format. My girlfriend isn't a huge B-Ball fan, but loved watching Tracy dominate last year. I told her she knew nothing of domination until she saw hakeem destroy EVERYONE during the entire 1995 playoffs. PLEASE HELP!! I wanna see the Hakeem 49 points, 25 rebounds game. Dream was a one man wrecking crew, destroying double, triple, even quadruple teams. I remember listening to Gene on the radio calling the game, wishing I could have seen it.
