Shaq's been a monster in birthday games over the years: 2007 24/9/8 (Day after) 2006 35/12 2004 32/8/6 (Day before) 2003 40/14/4/5 2002 (3 40pt games that week) 2001 26/17/5/4 2000 61/23 1999 31/11/7 (Day before) 1996 36pts (next scheduled game) 1995 46/11/4/5 (next scheduled game) 1994 32/11 1993 23/15/6/3 It's not just the numbers, but he really puts his stamp on his birthday games if you watch the games... So tomorrow the Suns come to town to celebrate Shaq's 37th birthday. He's been playing well lately and gets more touches with Amare out...To make things more dramatic, Yao is happy to go up against a non flopper after getting tagged with 2+ offensive fouls/game for the past two weeks... So I'm curious to see what you guys think the stat lines will be for these two, esp. shaq...
Haha Shaq had a nice little flop against the Magic. I think it will be a good (and mostly fair) match up this time around though.
Hopefully Shaq will have something nice to say about Yao. I believe Shaq does have some great respect for Yao. I hope he says he's the best center in the league after the game.
