Hubby's birthday is coming up...I have a hard time with what to get him. He always says "oh, just get me shoes, clothes or something like that" every year. I want to get him something neat. Any suggestions?? I would get him a Xbox game but he always plays it like for a month then he forgets about his Xbox. I recently gave him a watch for his wedding gift so no watches. He got a lot of clothes/shoes before our wedding so really don't want go that route. What would you want for your birthday, guys? (I should expect the sex comments too, eh?)
^last line says it all. New TV so he has something to watch football this fall while that's going on.
I don't think he likes sporting events if I recall. But get him some season tickets to the rockets in section 421.
What's the budget? Get him a lawnmower, it'll come to good use in the future. or like droxford said... buy him a new camera
I'm the same with gifts.. I don't expect anything and don't really care for material items... so one birthday my wife took me out on the lake to go jetskiing.. you can do something similar... if there's something you think he would enjoy for the experience... but yeah, the lusual male fantasy of a 3some would work also shribble, shribble, shoot
Season tickets are more for me! Just got a new lawn mower... Hey, jet skiing on the lake sounds like a great idea! definitely want to go for an experience... um, for 3somes...must be approved by me in terms of hotness. He did mention about wanting new iphone or ipad but i don't really see a point in ipads if we have laptops.
You guys... clutchfans is the best. I love all you perverts! Seriously though, if he's a beer or wine drinker, a cigar smoker, big-time coffee drinker a "____-of-the-Month Club" subscription would be awesome. I've always wanted one of those. A friend of mine had a "Beer-of-the-Month" one and it was awesome. 6 pack of something exotic and hard-to-find delivered every month. And as alluded to above, they have all kinds of subscription clubs like that at all price levels. Also, a magazine subscription is the gift that keeps on giving. They're usually pretty cheap (so it can be an "add-on" if you can spend that much), and he's reminded of the gift every time it hits the mailbox. My wife got me a Rolling Stone subscription and renews it every year. Absolutelly one of my favorite gifts. I also love a night on the town. I know the "gift" is gone as soon as you get home that night. But a great dinner at an expensive restaurant, where he can order a $50 steak and maybe a glass of Johnny Walker blue... not too shabby. You just have to make sure and follow it up with a beej in the parking lot afterward. Just my .02.
