His estranged wife Sabiha said last night he would order his elder sons to shoot him rather than be captured. Bin Laden: Appearance on Al-Jazera TV Sabiha, 45, added: "That will be the signal for a new wave of terror. The targets this time would be the Capitol building in Washington, Big Ben in London and the Eiffel Tower in Paris." Her claims were broadcast on Russian television as al-Qaeda boss bin Laden reportedly led 1,000 loyalists into forests in Afghanistan after being flushed out of his Tora Bora caves. New evidence has also emerged of his role in the September 11 atrocities in America. In a 40-minute video tape obtained by the Pentagon, he described the damage around the twin towers as "greater than expected" and praised Allah for the success of the attacks. Bin Laden, 44, whose Saudi family run a multi-billion dollar construction business, is said to have 15 children by three or four wives. Estranged wife Sabiha, who abandoned him after he took another wife aged 17, revealed the "suicide" plan on Russian TV channel, TV6. Sabiha said he wanted his death and ultimate martyrdom filmed by the al-Jazeera TV network, based in Gulf state Qatar. It has broadcast several of bin Laden's rants against the West since September 11. Yesterday bin Laden's mother Alia spoke for the first time about him, saying she was not angry with him - just disappointed by his ideas and actions. "Like all mothers, I am satisfied and pleased with my son and pray to God to guide him and save him," she told a Saudi newspaper. The family disowned him in 1994. The fresh tape evidence of bin Laden's involvement in the twin towers horror is said to have been found in a private home in Jalalabad. US Vice President Dick Cheney said: "He does, in fact, display significant knowledge of what happened and there's no doubt about his responsibility." On the tape, bin Laden said he was at a dinner when he was told the first plane had crashed into the Trade Center. He shared the information with other guests and some expressed surprise. He told them to stick around and then the second plane hit and they cheered. The tape also shows that bin Laden was amused some of the hijackers were unaware it was a suicide mission. A US official said: "He is amused by the fact that some of these people who were martyred, they thought they were just taking part in a hijacking.'' A second, hour-long tape, obtained by the Mirror in Kabul, shows bin Laden's hatred of America. It opens with newsreel footage of Bill Clinton and George Bush on "Muslim soil". Jabbing his finger, bin Laden urges his al-Qaeda fighters: "Our priority... is to rise up against America."
If this is true... This guy knows nothing about Islam which states suicide if unforgivable. Then again so is killing innocent men, women and children in planes and buildings. Quite the EGO, and self-reverence to himself to allow his death to be a monumentous occasion that sparks attacks and he wants himself remembered as a holy man. Yet that ego goes against every princeple that Islam teaches about humility. Don't associate this man with the religion just as you wouldn't associate David Koresh or the Jones Town Incident with Christianity.......

After watching Bin Laden in that video tape release smiling and going on about how wonderful a job he is doing for Islam and such, I have come to the conclusion that this has nothing to do with Islam and EVERYTHING to do with EGO. These people defeated the Soviets in the 80s...which they never would have done without our Stingers and help...and then proceeded to have their own civil war in Afghanistan until the Taliban and Al Quaeda finally took over with pure evil authority over the people. At that point, they thought they were pretty much invincible and it was all Allah's doing. Allah guided them to victory and will guide them to world domination over the West. They believed after that...that they could not lose any war. The way they gloat and stroke their egos in that video is just remarkable. I wonder how much ego stroking their doing now...those idiots. You could tell they were ego-driven just listening to the Taliban ambassador before our war started where he was saying stuff like "Let the Americans come...we will destroy them just like we destroyed the Soviets when they came!". Ugh...the last time I saw that sicko ambassador...he looked pretty depressed about to cry indicating the Taliban are no more. Nice work there buddy. Talk the talk...but don't walk the walk. The FACT is anyone who watches the video and comprehends what is said...if they believe that to be the good doings of Allah and believe it is still right....are no better than Bin Laden. If that is the true meaning of Islam, then it has no place on this Earth. Any sane person knows that is not Islam and just some mad man's interpretation of it all. And I'm sick of all these people who claim to be prophets...everyone's a prophet...Saddam, Omar, Osama.....get real.

Did Osama have anything to do with the Soviet war? He's a Saudi, not an Afghani. I thought he was there out of opportunity and for no other reason. I'll see the tape tonight when I get home---but these guys are very devout. They believe this is Islam--and thats why they do what they do.

Yes, Osama is seen as a war hero in Saudi Arabia and he was present during the Soviet war although it has been said he was not fighting on the front lines but rather doing little to no fighting and hanging out in safe areas....which seems to be his specialty. Tuck tail and hide.

How would we work that with body parts? I mean, if the head, left arm, right leg below the kneecap, 2/3 of the torso, etc are missing, who would pay for that? I have a sneaking suspicion that he won't be found in one piece. (I would, of course, still pay $5 to urinate on his severed right hand... given the vendor had DNA proof that it was his hand)
