I absolutely cannot stand this guy (Bill Walton). During the first quarter and the beginning of the second, all Walton could do was bash the Rox... then of course, the game swings in our favor and he is suddenly in love with Yao, JVG, Taylor, etc. Honestly, he is the most inconsistent, biased commentator out there. Sure he was a good basketball player, but I have to mute the TV everytime he says a word. He honestly got on my nerves in the first quarter. I am curious to hear all of your thoughts on this guy....

Nice win for the Rockets. :)

I used to hate him, now I think he is AWESOME !!

He is just sarcastic, and has a dry wit.

"That is arguably the worst pass on a fast break in Rockets history"

    Good stuff.

Thankfully he has missed the other contenders for ...arguably the worst pass on a fast break in Rockets history."

Same here. He cracks me up.

"After that dunk Mark Madson's name will now be mentioned in the same breath with Jordan, Dominque, and Dr. J."

My favorite was his argument with Sean Elliott where he was saying the Knicks are (or would be this season) the best team in the Eastern Conference. "I mean who is going to beat these guys?" said Walton.

Well Bill, for starters... the Rockets... twice.

    IM going to quote Shaq

    "I feel like Bill Walton"
    - Old and ****ty

    something to that effect
I dislike the way he goes on and on about how good, or bad a player is. Does he not realize it does get Repetetive

Yah! He claimed that the Knocks are just as talented as some of the best teams, IE Indiana...

My answer to that is: NO!!! I kinda laughed to myself and said, yah right.. and this is why they are getting beat by the Rockets . I think the Knicks could be good, and might sneak by as the 7th or 8th seed.. but they do not have the talent to knock of teams like the Pacers, Pistons, or Nets....

and would get slammed by any decent Western Conference Team.

well i mean he used to be a center, so obviously watching yao not get the ball hurts him.

My favorite it when a ball ends up in another players hands by total mistake and he screams out NICE PAAAAASS....oh the creativity. I like his sarcasm but he is a rocket hater big time. All the way back to the Hakeem days. "How do you expect to win a championship if you cant get a defensive rebound? haha He's still a tool.

Walton's fun as long after you catch on to his style. Which is, praise the hell out of whomever happens to be on a run.

Sure, it's annoying when you're on the wrong end of his excitablitily, but it's amusing when he's claiming Kelvin Cato is showing "shades of Bill Russell."

But the annoying part comes out more, especially for a Rockets Fan. I cant wait till a Nugs game in which Bill will be the commenator.
    Ipredict after a CA dunk
"And Chris Anderson, the best dunk artist in this leage. O, Marvelous, How Nice. This guy can be a very very good offensive force in the paint with that move"

Walton's absolutely hilarious. People who think that he's serious are just missing the joke.

And whoever said he's anti-Rockets, I don't see that. He's a huge fan of big men, especially Yao Ming. Back in the day, he was a big Olajuwon fan as well. I still remember his "Oh no!" call on Stockton's 3 in the 97 Conference Finals.

A lot of people have posted here about Walton before, and what i read is that most of them watch the games in two T.V's, i do it, just watch the game on ESPN, and listen to it on CH2 or whatever channel is CH51 in your area, it works great for me.

Walton has been in love with Yao since before he played a game.
