Just watched the halftime segment between the New York Knicks and Portland Trailblazers right now on ESPN and Bill Walton gave the Rockets and Carl Landry some love. Just to sum it up he basically said the Rockets have been playing out of their minds lately and winning all these games, and that a lot of it had to do with the recent play of Carl Landry (he mentioned Aaron Brooks in there too).

Landry is the most important thing to happen to the history of mankind! The fate of the human race lies upon the hands of our rookies in this basketball extravaganza! /LSD

[Walton]...and that potato chip I ate at that Grateful Dead concert was the most perfectly scrumptious, salty piece of processed potato since before the big bang!

Dammit, I just missed what was probably the greatest inbounds pass in history while making that comment...[/Walton]

This tells me Walton is actually watching the games. Great. Something many analysts stopped doing.

Carl Landry looked at the crowds gathering around his locker, and with the poise and command of a veteran at the All-Star game, said he would wait a moment for the rest of the media to make its way to his orbit.

"Is this everybody?" Landry said. "I want to do (the interviews with) everybody at one time."

Look who has turned Big Ticket on us.

Bwa ha ha. Seriously, kudos to Landry for saving the Rockets' ass tonight.

    from the blog

"But since he was in the mood to gush, I thought I should invite Yao to write another headline. He declined.

"Last time," he said, "I said, 'So young, So good.' You put on there, so good, so young.'"

Can't handle a little editing, big guy?"

    That's funny rite dar.
