http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/6649101/dizzying-highs-terrifying-lows part that got me ABC & ESPN: Don't tell anyone, but if there's a Game 7, Disney makes an extra $110 billion (all numbers approximate). You might see everyone on Dallas foul out in Game 6. I think Tyson Chandler already has 2 fouls and the game doesn't start for another 48 hours. any truth to this? if so game 7 it is
one MILLION dollars? been posted before, but forget where and which thread. But whatever. Is this news legit? The article was tl;dr so yeah...
It was posted in the GARM but not specifically about this. Seriously if this is true (which I find hard to believe it's THAT much money) then how can anyone take basketball seriously anymore?
[markjacksonvoice]Come on guys, you're better than this.[/markjacksonvoice] Simmons is obviously joking. The ridiculous number and "all numbers approximate" doesn't give it away?
they definitely make more money if there's a game 7, but its definitely not that large of a number. the nba owners wouldn't have lost 300 million this past year if it was so easy to make such ridiculous sums of money that quickly.
I bet if the the Heat win game 6 everyone is going to say it was rigged even if Miami gets 10 more fouls call on them
Refs have got timing down perfect. Isn't about # of calls, but about # of blatantly bad calls and the timing in which they happen.
One part that pisses me off is how many people think that Wade and LeBron were at any one point archrivals or rivals of any sort. They were close friends, the rivalry was just not there.
Sports writers are stupid if they think we're willing to give up our core for Chris Bosh. Even if that trade was for Amar'e, it's still stupid.
