I don't know if this has been posted yet, but Bill Berry(Rocket assistant 92-99) has been named interim coach of the Chicago Bulls, whose former coach Tim Floyd resigned today. I gotta wish the best of luck to Berry for this season and he'll need it, but hopefully this guy will get a chance to become the full time coach. He's definitely put in enough time and deserves a shot. Also, does anyone know why he ever left the Rockets?
As already stated this was posted in the NBA forum 4 hours ago. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26687 He probably left the Rockets to pursue his own career. With Rudy at the helm he had to know it would be a long time before he was given a legitimate shot at being the head coach. I wish him well in Chi-Town.
