I speak for everyone when I say these past three years have been very frustrating. This has to be one of the most worst eras in Rockets history. The Rockets just play basketball, with no realistic direction. With that being said, what do you think were the biggest positives from the 11-12 season? I'm hoping we get this 13th pick, because it will matter in this draft. I think we can move into the top 10 with ours and the Knicks pick. You would think at least, but our GM is all talk so I wouldn't be surprise if we just stay pat. Other positives from the 2012 season is the emergence of Goran Dragic and Kyle Lowry. Also our rookie small forward Chandler Parsons had a very solid year, he is def a young guy who needs to stick around Houston.

it's crazy how i went from eating and breathing nba to not caring at all once the rockets lost to the heat. as far as positives go i'd have to go with: 1. parson emergence 2. kyle continues to ball 3. dragic shows he can consistently play as a starter 4. getting camby 5. lee showing he can start 6. donuts doing well overseas 7. trading thabeet and flynn 10. getting rid of t-will 11. scola's knee seems to be healthy 12. despite mchale panicking and driving our players into the ground during the playoff push, he seems to be a competent coach with a good coaching staff around him.
Chandler Parsons was the highlight of the season. Goran Dragic would have also been but he probably won't sign with the Rockets next year, sadly.
The emergence of Parsons as a legit NBA player as a rookie. Looks to have a bright future. Also Goran's performance during the four game win streak on the road was near All Star. When Lowry attempted to return, things went south, not sure exactly why, but the chemistry was gone. At times Camby was exceptional and Dalembert had his moments. Courtney looked good at times, bad at others. Patterson was awful. C-Bud was up and down. Scola was steady, but seemed to fade at the end. Overall, it's about Parsons and Goran. Ten years ago, Camby was a serious stud.
