Just wanted to get people's thoughts on who has been the Biggest FA Impact player so far? I Gotta think Jonathon Joseph has to be up pretty high? Thoughts?
It might be a more interesting discussion if we included every player on the Texans roster they acquired from FA.
Should've had a poll mane.. But I would have to say Jacksonville... They practically handed us 2 wins this year after cutting Garrard... Cant get no impactful than that as a Texan fan
It turns out Joseph was probably the better way to go given productivity and Nnamdi having a few years on him
I'm far from an expert when it comes to evaluating the defensive end and safety positions, but I can tell when a player is helping to elevate a teams defensive play and making big individual plays. Johnathan Joseph is doing both of those things and aside from Wade Phillips' coaching and Cushings return to a complete monster, Joseph is the one making the biggest positive influence. Barwin deserves some serious credit as well. Sure is nice to see an exciting defensive Texans team. I actually look forward to it when we are on defense. They are creating some serious havoc.
Joseph got to teach these young corner how to tackle. Even Allen, a vet still can't hold on to ball runner.
JoJo (player) Phillips (coach) It's amazing the defensive turnaround this team has made in way less than a year. I'm not even shocked about the defense doing well without Mario. Sadly...this could be some sort of financial-blessing-in-disguise. I love Mario, but...he will deserve to be paid as a #1DE. That isn't going to happen in Houston, methinks.
