CU needs to be like Texas. '96 Texas, not this years. That was the biggest underdog to ever win a Big XII Championship game as they beat the (mf'ing) Cornhuskers as 20.5 point underdogs. Can CU do it? No. But hey, we're thrilled to be in KC. I was gonna go, but the Univeristy is having it's yearly "milk people for money music performance" this weekend, and I have to perform. CU's only shot is to ocme out with the wildest gameplan they can think of, just try to catch OU off-guard and hope it works. That said, I think we'll cover the spread (21.5 points). It might be 35-14, but that's a cover. Watch #44 Jordon Dizon on CU on defense. He's a STUD. Freshman who was brought in to be a RB, but couldn't get any PT. Never played defense before, but they switched him to MLB in August. 2 weeks later, he was our starting MLB. He's gonna be a beast. mduke and any other Sooner fans, thoughts?
one of my closest friends is a CU Buff. i'll be pulling for them. of course, i'd pull for Satan and his minions against OU.
Oh how much would I love to see CU upset OU as that would give a deserving team like Auburn a chance to play for the national title. But alas, the odds of CU winning this game is worse than the Rockets winning the NBA title, lol.
Or we could really pray to God that both Auburn and USC lose, so UT can play OU for national championship .
It does nothing to UT probably. If, er, when OU loses it would probably knock them out of a BCS bowl and CU would just take their slot.
If OU were to lose and fall out of the BCS, they would take Texas' spot in the Cotton Bowl, likely pushing UT to the Alamo Bowl, since Mack has already said he will not accept a Holiday Bowl bid.
This isn't even worth discussing. This is a terrible Colorado team, and doesn't have the kind of athletes that the 2001 team had. They might lose by 4 TDs.
If OU loses, they may drop behind Texas in the BCS. UT would move up into the 4th spot which would put us in the BCS if Cal isnt ranked higher.
Congrats Sooner fans! You guys have one of the most impressive teams I've ever seen, better than last year's (which up unitl the Big XII Championship game, many were calling "the best ever"). Petersen deserves the Heisman. Period. As for the Buffs, don't cry for us. We're going to Orlando! Hey Nebraska and K State, where are you guys playing?
